The qualifier stage of the LEGION National League of Ukraine UPEA for Dota 2 begins on January 11th with a prize pool of ₴600,000! We’re excited to share the latest updates about the qualifiers and changes in the tournament format.

As always, participation in the qualifiers is entirely free. However, there are certain requirements for participants: at least three players in each team must be Ukrainian citizens, regardless of their place of residence. Additionally, all players must be at least 16 years old by the end of the registration period.

Updated Tournament Format

This season, the tournament format has been updated. The main stage will feature eight teams: four that advance through open qualifiers and four invited teams. The playoffs will be held in a Double Elimination format. The prize pool will be distributed as follows:

  • 1st place — ₴300,000
  • 2nd place — ₴150,000
  • 3rd place — ₴100,000
  • 4th place — ₴50,000

Qualifier Stages

The qualifiers will be held in two waves on the Faceit.com platform. Players must register in advance and confirm their participation on the platform.

  • All qualifier matches will follow a Single Elimination system with a bo1 format. Only the final matches for advancement to the group stage will be played in a bo3 format.

Qualifier Dates:

  • First Open Qualifier – January 11
  • Second Open Qualifier – January 13
