FISSURE Announced first Big Tournament in Deadlock

Broadcasting and organizer company FISSURE announced in Twitter their first huge event in Deadlock with $15 000 Prize Pool.

FISSURE Underworld will take place in October 11-13, in online format. First place will earn $7,500.

Eight European teams will take part in the tournament. Six of them will receive direct invitations to the tournament and two teams will go through open qualifier.

At the moment, only one participant is known, this is the Finnish team "paistinpannu:D", which passed Open Qualifer #1

Tournament rules and format

8 Teams are divided into two groups in GSL format. The opening matches will be held in bo1 format, all subsequent matches including playoffs will be bo3. The playoffs will be in a single elimination format, so teams will only have one chance. The top 2 teams from each group that passed the main stage advance to the playoffs.

Since Deadlock entered closed beta, there has only been one major tournament with a $4,200 prize pool, the Chinese UU Acceleration Cup, including only Asian teams.
