Natus Vincere Are The Champions of IEM Rio 2024!
The Natus Vincere team won the final of the IEM Rio 2024 tournament in Counter-Strike 2, defeating MOUZ with a score of 3:1. Led by captain Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, the team delivered a confident performance on three maps, but on Mirage, MOUZ showed exceptional skill. The map results were: Inferno (13:11), Dust2 (13:2), Mirage (6:13), and Ancient (13:11). This victory earned NAVI the tournament champion title.
For first place, Natus Vincere received $100,000 and a spot at IEM Katowice 2025, one of the largest CS2 tournaments. MOUZ, finishing second, earned $42,000. Virtus.pro, finishing in 5th-6th place, took home $10,000.

Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024 is a major tournament organized by ESL, held in Brazil. As part of the event at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 16 teams competed for a prize pool of $250,000 USD and a spot at IEM Katowice 2025.
