BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024: Results of the Third Day with the Debut of the New Cloud9 Roster and jks in Team Liquid
The third day of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 has come to an end. The day featured exciting matches with some unexpected results. Here are the interim results for groups C and D.
Results of the Third Day of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024
- FaZe Clan 2:1 Cloud9 (Dust2 13-10; Inferno 7-13; Mirage 16:14)
- G2 Esports 2:0 Ninjas in Pyjamas (Anubis 13-7; Inferno 13-11)
- Natus Vincere 2:0 BIG (Dust2 13-7; Mirage 13-3)
- Team Liquid 2:0 Virtus.pro (Ancient 22:20; Dust2 13-6)
Cloud9 put up a good fight against FaZe Clan and nearly caused the first upset of the tournament. However, kariggan and his team regrouped and won the crucial overtimes on the third map.
G2 Esports looked more confident and skilled than NiP, although there was a decent comeback attempt on Inferno.
Natus Vincere completely outclassed the Germans from BIG, even though BLAST is not their priority tournament, as the team is preparing for IEM Cologne 2024.
Team Liquid showed good gameplay, and jks proved that he hasn't forgotten how to hold a mouse and aim at opponents' heads. An incredibly long and exhausting game on Ancient followed by a completely opposite game on Dust2.
