Ninjas in Pyjamas replacing maxster with jocab by the end of the year
Ninjas in Pyjamas have released an update on the team's roster ahead of the end of 2023. It has been revealed that Swedish player Max “maxster” Jansson will continue to be out of action due to health issues.

His absence will be made up for by Young Ninjas youth team player Jacob “jocab” Nerheden, who will play for the main roster until the end of the year. According to NiP general manager Bjorn “THREAT” Pers, the replacement is temporary and does not mean that maxster will be sent to the bench.Since the beginning of the season, jocab has shown unstable play, notably at the Elisa Masters Espoo his rating was 0.80 for four maps.
However, the player improved at the Thunderpick World Championship online tournament, where he earned a 0.99 rating over seven maps.
