Riot Games is preparing to release a new skin bundle in its popular shooter VALORANT called Araxys 2.0, a continuation of the original Araxys set. Here’s what we know about its content, release date, and pricing so far.
What Will Be Included in the Araxys 2.0 Bundle?
According to leaks and preliminary information, the bundle will definitely include skins for the Phantom and Guardian, following the logic that the original Araxys featured the Vandal. As for other weapons, the most anticipated options are the Sheriff and Marshall, though substitutions like the Frenzy or Ares are also possible.
Araxys Phantom and Guarian Skin Concept
At the moment, it is unknown what the aforementioned skins will look like, but you can check out their concepts created by talented enthusiasts on YouTube.
Araxys Phantom
This skin looks stunning and well-crafted, definitely deserving a spot in our list of the best Phantoms in the game.
Araxys Guardian
It's been a long time since we've seen new skins for the Guardian, with the last one featuring effects released back in May 2022. The last of these was the Guardian Neptune. This skin will surely delight fans of this rifle.
Release Date
The Araxys 2.0 bundle is expected to hit the in-game store on December 13, 2024. However, skin files are set to appear in the game earlier with the patch update on December 10, giving players a chance to preview them. The release timing may vary by region: for example, the bundle could be available on Thursday evening in the US and Friday morning in Australia.
Bundle Pricing
The pricing for Araxys 2.0 is expected to align with the original Araxys bundle:
- Full Bundle: 8,700 Valorant Points (VP).
- Individual Weapon Skins: 2,175 VP each.
- Knife: 4,350 VP.
As for the knife, its design remains a mystery. The original Araxys bundle featured the unique "Claw Harvester" knife, and fans are hoping for an equally creative option this time.
While we’re all waiting for the release of Araxys 2.0, the Valorant store is currently selling the Combat Crafts collection. You can check out our article about this collection, where we help determine whether it's worth your money or not.
